The instructors are top-notch. My teacher is a graduate of Berkelee School of Music. She is a highly accomplished professional musician. I am enjoying the voice lessons so much! The experience is opening up a new world for me. I have no prior musical experience but I feel very comfortable. I am learning a tremendous amount and having a great deal of fun at the same time!

The administrative staff is very responsive, quick to answer the phone, on top of scheduling and billing issues. They are conscientious and diligent.

I highly recommend Needham Music for instrument instruction. In particular, for me personally, the adult jazz ensemble was a life-changer. If you're a brand new novice, or a seasoned jazz musician looking to get back in, or anything in between, ask these guys about the adult jazz ensemble. A unique and awesome opportunity to jam, develop, and have a ton of fun.

Tenor Sax music lessons with Curtis. I totally enjoy my time spent with Curtis. He is an excellent musician but has the ability to explain things in basic language understandable to me. He also listens to what I would like to learn and makes those accommodations. He understands that I am a working adult and cannot always spend as much time practicing as I should.

Both my kids take music lessons (drums and ukulele) here and enjoy it. The teachers are super nice and encouraging. Scheduling has been easy, as well as making up lessons. We've had a great experience!

Great group of individuals, always willing to support and help with any music related questions and order supplies if they don't carry them in the store. Teachers pay attention to the child's learning style and support the learning process.

Needham Music and Dance has provided amazing access to wonderful teachers for both of my daughters (oboe and cornet). The space is great, we can buy any materials (music, reeds, instruments, etc.) that we need. The owner and staff are warm and friendly and coordinate music nights for the students to perform which brings out the extroverts and introverts and is fun for everyone.

I was very happy to find the trumpet I was looking for at Needham Music! They were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, even allowing my son to take it to his lesson to get his instructor's opinion before we purchased it. They provided great service and product for a reasonable price and I'd recommend anyone who needs musical instruments, accessories or instruction to check it out!

The process of renting instruments for my sons was new to me and Needham Music made the process so easy. The store even had the lesson book! The same day I received the instrument, book and all the accessories needed to start.

You don't have to trek into the city to find a great music store. Needham Music has great products at great prices. Also, their lessons are amazing! The teachers are so patient and talented. The prices for lessons are extremely reasonable and worth it!
